You can go straight for a class 2 and get your 7.5 licence retrospectivally
ok for some reason i still thought you had to do a 7/t test if you hadnt passed test before 1999.

You are right pf. If you passed post July 97 you had to take a test at 18 to drive a 7.5, but you could go straight for class 2 at 21

Within 3 months according to the guys down there the other day, funny thing is that all the staff have been asked if they want to goto the new Lutterworth depot, only an 80 mile or more round trip for those guys, with today’s travel costs ! That’s drivers and warehouse staff btw.
