The timed delivery bit is a load of crock
They contact the customer he’s going to and arrange for permission to film on their site etc.
The guy who went from Bardon to Scunthorpe in one of the series hat was pretty much his days work so they could get all the shots etc
I doubt the guys doing the filmed runs are actually doing much productive work
What might seem like a short day will probably run into quite a long one once they start filming.
Hence why they can get tours of brewerys etc.
I’ve seen civvie drivers get a run round in armoured vehicles and pictures taken in Hariersso it does happen.

i think the fact edd=the bird did 4 [or whatever] pallets of chickens to tibshelf and then back to yard showed it was for the cammeras and not a normal run,ive not done it for a while but that drop was normally part of a multi drop, think it was notts/derby /alferton.if i remember right it was co-op alferton +7/8/9 + drops,i doubt they send a truck out to do 1 drop with 4 pallets on.
as for tibshelf being a blindside reverse ,in trhe most loosest of terms it maybe, but its really a straightish reverse across the road with plenty of room/wide gateway,or thars how i remember it,but maybe its changed since ive done it
Just a quick one guys, yes I’m gonna have to admit I used to work for Stobbies at Tesco Widnes…(easy on the abuse please…lol)…and Ed, Stobbies son was sent out with one of the drivers there for 2 weeks,he told us that Ed was gonna spend a day with Fiona filming to make it look like she was his mentor even though he had 2 weeks with the driver…she even came in one day to be filmed collecting a load and her paperwork in the office, probably won’t show the bit where she left without the cowbell for the tail lift and a driver had to go out and give her one…easy guys I mean the cowbell… …to be honest she seems a nice girl…and believe me the camera doesn’t do her justice she looks a lot prettier off screen or as Ed would say ‘WELL FIT’…
…there were so many things done for the program that aint true, that what makes it laughable…I’ve done that Blackburn Metro loads of time and since when has the isotrack system before you start your run warn you of the restrictions on the delivery
,you have a piece of A4 paper to show you that, but i suppose thats not exciting enough…
Oh goodie we can start the idiots cutting in thread in a stobart style now. Did that bloke really say 4.5k for his class one?
did anyone notice the blurred out name on the red truck
Nope, missed it. Who was staying Eddie doesn’t have ethnic names on his trucks? Went past one broken down in Mansfield today with an ethnic looking name on it.

any idea why it was blurred? not wantin to have a rival name in show?
not sure how old this pic is but its doing its rounds on facebook, lol… worth another look even if its been around a while… guess he was in the brown stuff with homebase!
Remember, the majority of viewers are just Joe public, it’s nothing more than a publicity stunt for ESL.
I’d like to slap the drivers that ate featured on the show, just for making ■■■■■ of themselves.
It’s not theirs anymore,
This is our England now.

That is fair enough Ned Flanders but unfortunately the real world also needs young people getting into vital industries like logisticsSpeak English and say “road haulage.”
Sorry, I am not in the “road haulage” industry myself so wouldn’t know what you guys prefer being called haha.
Why are you on a truck drivers forum then? It’d be like me commenting on a Warcraft forum (other sad pastimes for lazy students and middle aged men with no friends are available).
+1

its about a year old, happened down Cameron Toll in Edinburgh, Idiot following his sat nav and not reading the road signs which give you plenty of warning of a low bridge and what way to go if you cant get under it.
why are they blurring out elite dream bedding in some shots but not others
