Stobart Trucks & Trailers mega thread

Did they say the driver of the elite bedding truck was only 21■■? He must have a hard life at stobarts cos he looks the wrong side of 35 to me.

Why did he not just wait for that Land Rover to move out of his way? Chicken

Muckaway:

My thoughts too. If you sit there long enough, they will eventually take the hint and move. If not, get out of your cab and make them move!  No point making your job harder than it already is.

room for a matchbox■■? how bloody big is that guys match boxes

Mrs Muckaway said something similar

Matches must be the size of the Olympic Torch!!!

I only watched tonights episode on and off on C5+1 as Titanic with Len Goodman was only 30minutes long but far more interesting than this crock of crap.

Can someone tell me why channel 5 still make this show. What have we learned since series 1
100% nothing . The drivers look fed up being filmed joe public cannot learn nothing as there is
nothing new to be learned .What did series 1 tell us driver get trailer goes to delivery place
to deliver goods drivers back to yard starts the process all over again.Series 2 same as series 1

Its their 6th highest rating show. Some weeks its up to 4th - see here; tv-ratings.free-satellite-tv … 040312.htm.

People on here don’t like it and although it is pretty boring they regularly get 1.7 - 1.8million viewers. Somebody like it!

its popular because the spotters like it and theres alot of em and kids like it people not involved in the industry but like trucks watch it because stobart is the most recognisable fleet in the country most.the problem is truck drivers watch it with a critical eye and pic fault, lets be honest theyve got to hype up the tension a bit its a tv program, try speaking to the drivers that do the iceroads that arnt in that show they say the tv show makes it sound more dangerous than it is to them its a job,i like the stobart show but then im truck mad. yeah mr dixon does my head in at times or rather his ego does but he aint on every week.that young lad with the the white truck wouldve proberly av done what idve of done and you said and got the landrover to move if the cameras wernt there, but its a tv show and its not made for truckers its made for everyone.i think that motor he was driving looked well smart so fair play if he,s only 21.i think we should all lighten up when we watch it and be grateful that truckers are being shown in a goodlight on tv for a change

that’s what would have happened If I was there , although the definition of “narrow country lanes” was a bit strange as they had white lines in the middle , round here that means a wide road

No Denis…That means “A” road!!!

bigvern1:
No Denis…That means “A” road!!!

what’s an A road ? the main road through here is a B road  and most don’t even have numbers !!

No, I mean a road in general. Not as in the letter A or B .

Won’t somebody think of the Stobart drivers children?

" All trucks can carry 44tonnes " Researched that one well C5!!!

Why the hell would you turn a different way because a vehicle was in your way :unamused:
Just jump out and explain to the driver you need to turn right FFS and why back into that farm when clearly there was enough room to drive in and screw it around

Is it me or does William look more and more like a ■■■■■ each week?
There’ll soon be a spinoff show “Willy O’Stobart; Tarmac and Tree Cuttings”…
