Clever accounting would provide thar figure, much more palatable to pay tax on Ā£4200 than a much higher figure!

Ā£370 for a 3/4 drop local multi,nwk- donny-Mansfield - nwk ,Iām struggling too see how you come too Ā£1.60 per mile( start 1 a.m,done 6/7 a.m( dependent on shop opening times).
Maybe you can run me through this Ā£1.60 per mile as Iām not seeing it too be honest 
,that round trip would have too be 230 ish miles to make the Ā£1.60 figure right ,I can tsee nwk- donny- 3 drops Mansfield- nwk being 230 miles.
Iām not seeing it at all,but if you can show me how your sums work out,Iāll quite happily hold my hands up and say I was wrong

I applied for a vacancy at the Newark depot. Closing date was a week ago and still have heard nothing. Does this mean they are not setting on new drivers now because of all the changes ? Who knowsā¦

I appreciate the mileage rate for locals will be higher.

Well d/ bay have only owned it for a few days and theyāve already offered too put holiday pay supplement up from Ā£11.50 per day to Ā£14.00 per day,a rise of 21.8% 21.8 % .
I guess there looking at all aspects of pay and if they give us a pay rise of 21.8 % across the board Iāll be well chuffed!looks like I would right to be optimistic about the future.

Work- 75% tesco shop deliveries!youāll come in !get a truck and tri!go up too donny/ goole( normally donny) ,tip rsu,then go round too dcand collect load and deliver too shops,maybe multi drop,I hitters,back hauls etc and after your last drop youāll head back too nwk

Thereās some chilled work,get truck / tri- collect load- deliver too tesco rdc.
As for why you havenāt heard anything Iām not sure,I know there was a lad in for interview apx a week ago,ex depot driver starts back 27 th.
Iāll try and find out score for you on taking on,but canāt promise Iāll get the answers you want.
N.b itās awkward if you canāt p.m,open forum,but if youāre in a job Iād be a bit carefull,nwk is now just parking for 20 trucks,chills shut etc,what long term holds I donāt know,not trying too put you off,itās just it used too have a chill,75 trucks,stacks of work,180 ish drivers,now just parking for 20 trucks,so Iām not sure of future.
Iāll do my best too find out,but as I say can guarantee anything( as they keep saying,your just a driver)
