Please tell us, are you ESL,S accountant ? you seem to know quite a lot about there finacial standing, which looks a bit iffy to me & a lot more on this thread, Regards Larry.PS, Im pleased I have none of my hard earned money invested in shares to do with ESL.
No I was told by someone at Crick, all this nonsense about promotions making more money then haulage is only a rumour.
This was the case back when Edward had the firm but it has since been turned around so keep dragging up the past if wish, all you have to do is check out companies house and you can see what state the finances are in.

So are they going to try and rip up the car council agreements or are they now a thing of the past anyway?
Car Council sill meet regularly but don’t appear to be as powerful since the recession kick in, I suppose they are only as powerful as their members make them.
Oh dear, lots of damage to be done here,a bit more than a stone wall repair.Hope their choice of driver has improved,or the insurance companies are going to be paying out a lot of money!!!.
You can see it coming can’t you, one of the young “driver/TV stars” driving one of the cars straight off the top deck. “oops, mis -judged that”
or “NO, offload the bottom deck BEFORE you lower the top deck”.

well,if you hav’nt heard, stobarts are now moving into the car transporter game,we wait with baited breath to see what happens, lets hope he wants to keep things as they are,but i’ve got a nasty feeling that film star,Mark Dixon might be chasing a train with cars on,and not tesco containers up to mossend rail head.
Well Peter you haven,t half put the cat amongst the pigeons here now i,ve got to find a eddies car transporter dinky for my grandson
I wish and hope for the day that stobbarts goes ■■■■ up.
I couldnt think of a better company for it to happen to.
Nothing more than a bunch of tossers and that includes a majority of the drivers if thats what you can call them.
If ESL went under tomorrow I doubt we will be drowning in tears, well maybe the odd tv producer and a few bobble hat truck spotters might dampen the pavement here and there but nothing serious. I doubt the logistics teams at the car makers will be jumping from their windows due to pressure of non delivery (a few at Tesco might swallow hard but carry on regardless 10 minutes later). We can but dream…
