So the post would be titled … ‘WHITE MEN’ then go on about a guy throwing stuff away ?
The very title sugests he means all white men just as ‘Stobbart Drivers’ sugests he mean all Stobbart drivers
As I pointed out earlier, if he had been complaining about a driver titled it “Man driving Stobbart truck” it would have been different. Lumping all drivers at one firm in the same bracket seems to me to smell a bit of jealousy just as the complaints about ‘Tesco drivers’ does, although I can’t think why anyone would be jealous of anyone driving for Stobbart unless it’s because they have nice trucks ? We used to get that on Swifts (UK) because we had new trucks every 3 years and drivers got 10% above the national average pay … a very long tame ago, but others were very jealous.

There is a class double page article in the Mail on Sunday mainly about “fast eddie” Barristers and the unqualified bloke who Tink and Wills have appointed to run the “operation” which will be basically aimed at securing chunks of the new legal aid system,mainly by cutting the rates to be awarded the work ( Sounds familiar ? Stobart and rate cutting 
) However,the article was very critical about them but IMHO what I read was just about correct as to how they operate elswhere so at least they are being consistent if nothing else but I wouldn’t like them to be defending me in court,the “Barrister” got a couple of his previous clients locked up for perjury and he nearly joined them but managed to get himself aquitted,just ! mind how you go.

No he is right. I heard this on BBC2. They were out slagging Eddie off, but saying that what there offering is what you can get free
I’m completely confused. What has Stobart got to do with legal aid?

I admit I had to look that up to make sure… My money was on them buying a large utilities firm, didn’t see that one coming.
I haven’t looked it up myself but that was on BBC radio 2 when they had a long chat about it. Some lawyer came on and said it’s a bad idea and it’s the sort of thing Stobart do and that’s mess things up. It got really heated

Must say I’d agree with the lawyer in principle, just as I’d agree with people like lawyers keeping out of transport and warehousing. It was people of that ilk who destroyed road transport as we know it and came up with the raft of stupid rules and regulations that blight our lives daily. Mission statements, stupid names, H&S overkill, targets, KPI’s, directives, rules, regulations, pettiness and penny-pinching to the end.
I hope Stobart wrecks their cozy little sector and decides it’s so good they’ll get out of transport.

I have no beef whatsoever with “fast eddie” “mickey b” I just enjoy watching the pantomime which I find hilarious at times and obviously I assume,wrongly it seems,that you lads are up with all the “craic” about the "firm that invented the wheel,the curtainsider,airports, franchising and everything else they turn their hand to,which includes “barristers” a new venture that was announced some time ago but,I admit,has taken a while to finally hit the headlines but no doubt it will sink without trace when it is held up to srutiny !
