Stobart Drivers

What is it with stobart drivers…are they above the law or something? ■■■■■■■■ just cut me up on the roundabout going into tesco Livingston, just so he could beat me to the barrier. ■■■■■■■

SIGH

NTSA. :unamused:

terrible shame you could not have filmed it to get on the next series

What about the Royal Mail drivers. They haven’t had a mention in a while

The head office phone number is on the back of all their cabs, a nice young lady will record the incident and file it in the filing department.

they drive scanias and volvos and all have flash cars in the car park, he must have been in a hurry to get back to the yard to jump into his Bentley

Keep up! They are incredibly versatile and regularly drive everything from a Sherpa van to an Artic according to a thread the other day.
Now they just need to learn to drive cars and they can do it all!

Ive heard every stobart driver has killed at least 50 men with his bare hands, they are all 8feet tall and lightning bolts fire out their arses.

You’ve encountered a ■■■■, the livery on the side of his wagon is irrelevant. Of course, seeing as youre going into the same place you could always bring your annoyance to his attention? Or y’know, you could just run to trucknet and find yourself validated by the cool kids who love to snigger and snipe.

I’m not a stobart driver by the way, I just find the consistantly juevenile moaning on here amusing.

personally i would have pulled him for it,i would have said what an excellent bit of driving,[sarcasm obviously]

Why ‘Stobbart drivers’ ? … is every Stobbart driver bad then ?
Why is it that companies like this and over here Swifts, Hunts and Werners get the grief all the time ? … Truth is only a very tiny percentage of drivers on these companies are bad or not up to standard, so really every company has drivers just as neglegent or stupid.
I happen to know lots of Stobbart, Tesco, Swifts, Hunts and Werner driver who are highly skilled and extremely safe… probably a damm sight safer than even you
Why didn’t you just say that a driver cut you up and that he was driving a Stobbart vehicle ? There’s a big difference.

I have to admit the Swifts in the USA do seem to hire some real idiots, but not all of them are bad.

Your right, I have never ever ever been cut up or put in bad situations by anyone other than Stobart drivers, in fact I suspect every car which cuts me up etc is also driven by Stobart drivers commuting between home and work :unamused:

I think most of us slip up from time to time, there isnt such a thing as the perfect driver, cutting up someone just to jump the que isnt rite we know…i would have just taken him to one side for a quiet word…so not embarasing the driver, if he doesnt take kindly to your friendly approach…smack the ■■■■ !

Perhaps this never happened. Explain how he cut you up on the roundabout at Livingston. You were heading east from Glasgow I guess, up the slip road, right hand lane for Tesco? Was he in the wrong lane? Were you in the wrong lane. Very hard to have two wagons side by side entering that roundabout.
Did it happen or are you just another gob who thinks its cool to have a go at stobart drivers?
Did you get his reg and report him? Easy to find a phone number for them.
Did you more which wagon it was and ask in the waiting room who the driver was, and then get him to explain his method of driving?
I’m guessing your just another of the band who think you’ll be loved by other drivers of you mention/slag Stobarts in a post.
Just my opinion obviously.

He cut me up on the mini roundabout as i was turning right into tescos, i had been at lidi, so was coming from the other direction. As i just got a round the roundabout shot straight in front of me the ■■■.

Two artics on a mini roundabout FTW!

Stobarts brought all this negativity towards them on themselves by their intense self publicising and making out that they are different and better than any other haulage firm :unamused: , the fact is they are not…end of, and anybody who thinks that they are have either a low intelligence quota or are terminally gullible. Sadly their drivers get caught up in all this bs, and get the ■■■■■■ end of the stick, most of them that I know or have met are just your average driver making a living, every firm has it’s obligatory knobheads not just Stobarts.

What about Irish drivers carrying hanging lambs with 20t of sheet steel on the floor of the fridge? Haven’t heard that one in ages.

Possibly an Agency driver not that makes it any better should of asked him at barrier what he was playing at
