Stobart doing Waitrose deliveries

Just looked out my front room window to see a Stobart unit pulling a Waitrose trailer so looks like they’ve got their greasy mitts in Waitrose at Bracknell then :frowning:

Ready some 2-3 years Stobart do some job for Waitose.

If Stobarts didnt have it then it would be Wincanton...or DHL...or Norbert...or whowver, whats the relevance of Stobart? Genuine question, I just dont get the reason why they get the flack.

Dread it when they deliver to Abingdon - I live right above the entrance to the back door of there so can tell when a regular and agency deliver here :wink: :laughing: :laughing:

Some units have K&N on the doors, some don’t, would have thought the K&N deliveries would have come from Thatcham though…?

Could it just be that K+N who I understand have the whole job could be using Stobarts as a sub-contractor .

All K&N come from brinklow, though they have a frozen site at theale and they run a new waitrose NDC in Milton keynes. There are a number of new units ( 64 plate) at brinklow owned by John lewis, these won’t be marked K&N, there is no subbing to stobarts

So in a week thats co-op/ wait rose/Hermes/dpd etc, etc yet the last time I spoke to the boss he didn’t have enough trucks / drivers :exclamation:

Because they are a horrible picket line crossing scab bastart of a company?

When a company is undergoing a legal strike they don’t phone Dhl or Norberts for help on the traction. They phone Stobarts and yuill and Dodds awe they type of scummy compaines because that can’t say no.

Real shame to see Stobarts pulling Waitrose trailers I’ve seen them come out of Bracknell as well :confused: But Stobarts are getting the flack because they are a ■■■■ company that pay bad and treat their drivers like dirt, say no more.
