So I ring them , no driv bring it in morn for 7 , ok , rings him , ■■■■■■■ hell , right what 15,s have you left , ■■■■ none , right start at 7 then you’ve got till 20.00 , what about the football , I’m trying to get tomorrow , yea well I want to be home at 16.00 so I can watch the football , you no the score I’m trying to get you home , what at bloody 20.00 on a Friday night , no 17.00 , so I’ll be home at 17.00 , no I didn’t say that , I’m trying to get you home , instead of tryin just bloody plan me home , I’ve done 58 hrs in 4 days , 2x10 hrs drives surely you can get me home at a sensible time fri , I want to see my football team , I’ll do my best to get you home , no guarantees

What’s the take home and is it weekly mate ?
depends what shift you work, tramping, day, nights. Mon to Fri or sunday to thursday etc. works out from £10.50 to £11.64 per hour. Average take home pay for 50 hrs days is £450, average tramper 60 hrs is take home £590, average 50 hrs days sun to thurs £460.00 any overtime obviously is on top of this, additional shifts etc.

Good luck with it, you can’t go wrong with Stobart training school, it is impressive to say the least. If you pass with them they guarantee you an assessment at your local depot,

I don’t love it myself and I work for them, I wouldn’t knock them though as I think they are no worse than a lot of firms. To be fair I have only been with them a touch over a week but so far it is not as bad as the rumors say. I would say for as far as a driving job goes it is easy.
