Apologies if this has already been asked, i have done a search but cant find anything.

I saw one of Stobarts this morning on the M6 at walsall, white scania with Allport Cargo Services stickers. i thought it was an old one which has be decommissioned back to plain white with red and white bumpers but it had a fleet number and the address and telephone number on the back of the cab. It was pulling a plain blue skelly. Have they taken over them or something?

Probly just subbing to Allport, they’re a big noise.

Stobart Ports Widnes have got a contract delivering boxes from the railhead for Allports, Allports wanted them to be in their livery, so they’ve taken the Stobart green off and stuck a Allport vinyl on as well as the name and fleet number.

8 spotters have already chained themselves to the railings of the port on hunger strike…

Blimey :open_mouth: Allport finally got their way, Allport have been using Stobbies at widness for about 3 years, and I know when I was on for Allport they wanted all subbies liveried, as we were :smiley: , but Stobarts managed to hold out :wink: . Skelly will belong to Deben as they supply all Allport sliding skellies :wink:
