Only if your delivering a skip
Not any more you’re not! PMSL!!!
You could see it from Stainmore this afternoon, and across to Boro and well down the A19 the other ways. Quite a few of our lads live in Aycliffe, so they’ll be having fun getting home. One of my mates’ Dad lives just a few hundred yards away, he could hear the flames crackling inside the house.
It’s the last thing Stillers need. They’re not the company they were these days, without what’s left going up in smoke!

Let’s hope they were insured against fire then, eh?
I was driving up the A1 before when I saw this, around 13:20 ish, looked a right mess, can easily understand how people thought it’d be a tyre factory gone up.
I noticed smoke bursts and said something was exploding, didn’t think it’d be deoderant though.

It’s the time it takes to pay out though, isn’t it?
People were worried at first that it was Ineos that went up, then that Stillers may have had some of their product in storage. They say if that ever goes it’ll take the town with it…

This could shut down 3M in Newton Aycliffe after tuesday, my mate works at 3M and they store nearly all their gear at Stillers and now they`re gonna run out of packaging for their products on monday. Apparently it takes 2-3 weeks for them to get replenished because its all made - to - order stuff.
It is a massive place though, i did trailer swaps there for Thorn Lighting who also used to keep a lot of stock there too.
Now, where did i leave that insurance policy(i was only reading it last week)
i was tipping in newton aycliffe yesterday morning, left about 12ish though. nowt to do with me.
