I have been informed that you now have to spend money in the pub to get a ticket, otherwise the pub owner has you clamped, he owns all the road that leads upto the pub as well I believe.
Not quite true, but the landlord is getting narked about blokes parking on the verge because he is getting it in the neck from the council.
Hint, if you rock up at nine thirty at night with your trailer on, don’t bother trying to drive down to the car park.

Well thats understandable, especially the mess that some drivers leave behind there, its always clean though to be fair to the landlord. Just dont like the idea of being clamped if I dont go into the pub.
I’d say it would be perfectly fair trade to park up then use the pub.
Landlord sounds like a decent chap [with good food and beer] who needs to make a
living from anyone who parks at his place.
The pub trade is tough enough without plonkers taking up valuble parking space that
could be used by paying punters.
I say get the clamps warmed up Mr Landlord!
I’m parked here tonight I arrived at about 17.45 (unit only) and it was almost full then,before I had turned around the landlord was out to ask if I was using the pub.I said I was, and he warned me not to park on the verge as the police come around at night booking offenders!!
Well he always has football on in there so like a moth to a light I am drawn in
