I’d have thought if you haven’t got the answer by now from here, it’s time to trundle into the dealers or specialists for a chat.
I know enough about electrics to know that I wouldn’t be screwing with them in a very expensive truck. Not because I couldn’t do the job, it’s because there is no way I’d put myself in the frame in ANY way, for ANY thing electrical going wrong with the truck, from that moment on!

The saving of bodging it yourself, isn’t worth the liability it comes with…

normally tucked in side partition between two outside lockers usually on fuse box side can be a ■■■■ to find then go to DAF and get connecter if they are nice they might put cabe and connectors on for you

dont worry about doing it yourself its simple if others want daf to do it i suggest they stay in bed and not x the street they may get run down but that 2nd layer of cotton wool they wear may protect them

Thanks for all the positive help

I think you’re missing the sentiment of what I’m saying, as if you look at the other thread, it’s obvious by the fact the OP is still asking, it’s clearly not crystal clear for them, and a doddle to do. This by it’s very nature leads on to the OP considering bodging it, and where my advice applies. I even say bodging it isn’t worth the risk?

Also, it’s also worth remembering that not everyone is equal in all ways, and I’m not getting the vibe that the OP is that electrical savvy…
(Sorry OP)

I asked DAF how much it would cost to get them to install it. £40. In the end, my boss did it. As bizzle said, well worth the piece of mind instead of bodging it up.
