Agree with Mal on this one although I still would rather listen to Wrighty then that boring gimp Alex Lester “slap my top ,standard greeting ,standard reply” he reminds me of Alan Partridges rather more dim brother desperatley trying to be popular early mornings is Talk Sport for me . Alan Brazil(ex pride of East Anglia player) and Mike Parry(Ginger Tube)

Once that’s over, switch to Century FM is you can get it for a good mix of 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and current toons, or Heart FM if near Brum or London If in Yorkshire fire up Real Radio but not when that Umberto gimp is on
Come 1pm, back to Radio 1 for Mark & Lard then as Moyles is on of a morning now, come 3pm switch it off or do some channel hopping.
I only listen to Radio 2 for the travel reports and infuriatingly, that Sally chick can never do them at the same time each (half) hour and I usually end up missing it
Other than the traffic reports, Radio 2 is the dullest station in the country imho, especially Wogan who blethers on like Richard Whiteley without an autocue. Defo not a station to listen to if you didn’t get much sleep the night before when you’re trying to drive.

Kev maybe you should try the alex lester show he seems desperate for any kind of feed back just remember to turn over again after he has played your tracks otherwise his boring tat will send you into a long deep sleep

Can’t agree with that rob radio 1 is dire**.** (thats full stop) Sarah Cox was the incentive to find R2 thinking that her vocal volume was directly related to talent. OK she’s had the sideways shuffle but Radio 1 has simply lost the plot and it’s listening figures seem to suggest that more agree than not.
Radio 1 is great in the morning but I can’t stand those Mark and Lard chaps. They revolt me - I really don’t want to be gagging while driving thanks. The only good thing they do is that tedious link, and they even managed to screw that up today!
So in the afternoon I usually change to Cool FM or Citybeat, with a fair bit of channel flicking.

otherwise the boy who has the perfect face for radio won’t read it out.
I find playing CD’s with the traffic button on the best way to avoid the sycophantic no-talent muppets on Radio Two and One.
Orchard is rather dull isn’t it.
Most of my favorite stations were either north or south of there… WFM or Star in the WSM area. Or even some of the welsh stations…
Im not driving at the minute, stuck in a lab testing pvc pellets for medical grade plastic! maybe I should have started my email by saying" Hi steve, love the show" etc. I listen to R2 because the local stations are dyre here with all thump thump thump music which I cant stand so you could say that R2 is the only one I listen to due to my taste in music.
And being here in Belfast my station selection is somewhat limited!!
Back in the truck soon,(if mr big doctor lets me) which will see me back to listening to good old RTE 2FM!!
