Given the same situation, I’d have accepted it was a mickey mouse role, and got on with sharpening pencils and cleaning the toilets just to keep my head down until payday for that meaty £100k deal. You don’t moan about a well paid job if you’re asked to do LESS than it says on the tin do you!?
Sounds like she was more interested in bossing people about than earning a big paycheque.
