YOU DIK-EDS

I’ve got to use this heading again !!!

Was watchingf the news and looking at ALL the morons, because it’s a sunny day , congregating on the beaches in England.
NO self distancing !
NO masks !
Shaking hands and embracing !
Kids, adults, elderly people.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not just criticising just the UK, we’ve got our own morons over here !!

But WTF ■■

Can I add, because of the EARLY de-confinement, in certain countries,
the R figure has gone UP !!!

Guttersloh in northern Germany has gone back into confinement,
we here in France have got certain areas where regions have gone from green back into orange, there is even an area where it has gone back into RED !!

But WTF ■■

Oh I feel your pain my mate.
Here in New Zealand we have had a painful lockdown this little country can ill afford but the population as a hole pulled together and sacrificed our rights and freedoms to beat covid19.
We did it too!!! A small island nation was the first to ERADICATE bat soup flu.

So how have our authorities seen fit to reward our collective efforts?
That’s right, special openings of our airports to import hard luck stories from around the world that are simply allowed to wander around and re-infect the country.

If there is another outbreak here the blame lies squarely with the government and I would imagine there will be quite a few willing to travel to the capital to tell them so.

This is what I’ve been saying all along.
When I was on furlough watching Sky news and all the rest of it, I’d gone from the initial attitude of… ‘load of exaggerated bolocks’ to… ‘Wow man this ■■■■ is serious’ , even to the point of being a bit wary starting back at work…which is not like me at all,.and out of character.
Got first week in, it was just like being back to normal but washing and sanitizing my hands more, the more you’re among it, the more you tend to forget about it, and take it in your stride.

As for Govt guidelines,.and advice, :unamused: …I don’t trust ANYONE in authority…(never have), so I just do things my own way… So just cos Boris says you can join Fred’s family in a ‘bubble’ :unamused: and all that type of ■■■■■■■■, does not mean to say I’m gonna go along with it.
And ther lies the problem, the public just going along with any thing they are fed and told, interpreting it all as 100% back to normality…it ain’t yet!

He’s lessened the restrictions as some kind of experiment, but I’ll just do my own thing, look at every situation as it comes and weigh it up in my mind…do I go in that crowded pub or the quiter one?.. do I book a holiday yet?.. do I do this that or the other ■■?
I decide for ME, not Boris and his cronies, ok I’ll socialise, visit mates and family and all the rest of it, but I won’t be going on a plane just yet. or sitting on a crowded beach like those guys…call me brainwashed if you like, I’d prefer to call it cautious but not paranoid. :bulb:

No doubt some are going to come on with all the stuff refuting it, saying it’s false, nobody has really died of it other than underlying health issues and all the rest of it,.calling everybody gullible sheep and alarmist…as maybe I would have 6 months ago.
I’ve mixed feelings on a lot of it now, but will continue to err on the side of caution.

Don`t throw out the masks/gloves/handwash solution yet guys!

I too have mixed feelings on all of this,I’ve not been on furlough thoughout it even though I expected to be due to the pubs closing, they switched us all to can and bottle work to RDC’s.
I’ve been careful though it all but was really looking forward to a nice pint of hand pulled Yorkshire bitter next week, now I’m thinking I won’t bother just yet,how busy are the boozers gunna be next Saturday? I think he’d been better opening them from the Monday and let it be a slower filter of people going in then the Saturday dinner time it’ll be carnage :open_mouth:
I know a couple of pubs have posted on social media they won’t be re opening on the 4th because of the guidelines set out(40 pages one put) and they can’t make it pay.
I suppose time will tell with it all :unamused:

Worry about your own country then YOU DIK-ED !

Also try joining Trucknet FR, …oh wait.

Stay at home isn’t the official advice though is it. This country and the rest of the world cant afford to have people sat at home any longer. How long do you suggest we stay home for? Intu is on the news this morning as they are probably going to have to call in the administrators, there will be many more. And for what?? The virus isn’t going to go away just because people hide at home, there won’t be a second wave or spike it will just be the delayed first one. The only way around it would be lockdown until a vaccine is available, but by the time that happens the cure would definitely be worse than the cause. For the majority of people it will be mild symptoms so why bankrupt the world because of it

Lockdown in the UK was lifted 7ish weeks ago now and we’ve had VE day street parties, beach days, Protests, illegal raves, other mass gatherings and there is still no spike in covid cases.

Of course some areas are going to see small spikes, that’s normal with any virus. I can’t believe a virus with a mortality rate of less than 1% has managed to get people this scared.

People need to start getting on with their lives. The economy is absolutely ■■■■■■ because of how long this has gone on for.

Of course we can’t have semi permanent total lockdown because of the economy, that goes without saying, but people are so easily led.
We’ve gone from over the top ‘everybody stay in’ to ‘everybody crack on as normal’ because Boris says it’s fine to do so…(even if he didn’t, but interpretation and hearing what they want to hear rules) when a happy MEDIUM somewhere between the two would have been more prudent, until we see what the next step to all this ■■■■ actually is, …being that it’s an unprecedented unknown quantity, whether you believe it’s wholeheartedly genuine or not. :bulb:

Maybe just maybe, enough people have realised there’s some things to really worry about going on whilst those addicted to the MSM are looking the other way as instructed.

Maybe you shouldn’t be unduly concerned about a nasty bout of the flu going about, maybe you shouldn’t be concerned about the same MSM whipping up resentment from the usual useful idiots being encouraged to make more headlines.

Maybe you should be concerned about the lack of investigation into why 3 apparently gay chaps have been murdered in Reading, the developing story in Glasgow, and why no one in the media (save the odd decent journo like Douglass Murray and his like) will give a tuppeny one about the obvious implications.
Maybe you should be wondering what is the next major event planned after Covic and the BLM farces designed to keep you looking the other ways worried frightened and easily controlled.
For that is what the agends is here, mass control using directed fear and increasing reliance on the state, the country you have known and if you have half a clue as to how lucky you have been to live here have loved throughout your life is going to change over the next decade before your very eyes into something else entirely, but you won’t see it happening because you’ll be looking the other way as decreed by the idiot box in the corner.

Maybe those enjoying being alive at the weekend on those beaches have realised such pleasures may not be theirs to enjoy for much longer in the new dystopian world the owners of the world have planned.

Maybe the reason the MSM is making a song and dance about them is they weren’t at home being drip fed more instructions vai the idiot box, the same MSM would be congratulating them if they were pelting coppers with bricks and tearing up city centres protesting for something they couldn’t explain if they tried.

Wake up people, turn the idiot box off, turn your back on the MSM, switch channels when the news comes on the radio, do this for one month and see how different you feel at the end of that month.

Type into search engine any 3 random numbers followed by ‘new cases’ and see what happens.I typed 666 ‘new cases’…apparently there’s 666 new cv19 victims in Ukraine :unamused:

I’ve been doing that to an ever greater extent to the point now where I don’t really know, care or give a zb what’s happening.

I’ve always thought that it’s either a fake virus power grab or it’s the real thing. The former being slightly ahead in terms of scariness.

But if it’s the latter it’s still scary zb.Going by the figures the way this thing can take off and get a hold and the way it takes people out it deffo ain’t flu.
While the government have probably realised that no one can hide from ‘it’ whatever ‘it’ is for ever.We just have to take our chances.

My gut feeling was that it was never going to have a happy ending if anything I’m more optimistic than I was in that regard. But I’ve still got a bad feeling about it in thinking that it’s no natural ‘virus’ it’s still there and the government’s clearly spooked previous response and the details in this topic just confirms that.

The fact is no one can hide from it forever.

While if it’s all fake then nothing short of a military coup against the dodgy establishment gone rogue is going to cut it so nothing we can do or say will make much difference.

As Juddian says, turn that ■■■■■ off, all of it.

Here’s a classic sky move, cutting people off if they go off script.
Here a veteran copper has the balls to speak some actual truth and gets the plug pulled in panic

Cheers for that  .I already have mate …You missed the bit off my quote about getting virtually back to normal when I started back in work, that includes not being drip fed news (or propaganda, you decide) like I was at home.

The figures you yourself are taking from the MSM as being kosher.

Remove the numbers of old people who died after being sent back to old folks homes from hospital, who sent them home? the NHS, praise be its name.
Remove the numbers of people who died who had serious other morbidities, sometimes several.

Try and find the numbers of people who were otherwise perfectly healthy and where absolutely without question they died of Covid 19.
Try and compare with the numbers of people who died with other respiratory issues caused by the normal seasonal flu, what flu you may ask because Covid 19 appears to have taken the flu out completely.

There is an agenda at work here.

move along now nothing to see here :open_mouth:

I’ve argued against the hysteria surrounding this virus since day one. Yeah it’s a nasty disease, but so is ploughing into the back of a stationary lorry at 56mph and I guarantee that statistically speaking more people who read this will die from the crash than the Covid.

Hell I’ve even had close friends who are professional motorcycle racers bleating on social media that we should follow ALL guidlines without question. The irony being that they want to get back to the “normal” that sees them hurtling around the TT course at 200mph!

We live, we die, t’was ever thus.
