Ok, I have now been driving for 4 weeks and so far loving it.
But I can’t find a answer to my question below
I have today started at 08:00hrs I understand I need to be parked up for 23:00hrs to allow me to get 9 hours in or by 21:00hrs for a full 11 hrs rest.
But I have a start time off 06;00 hrs in the morning does that mean I need to be parked up 2 hours earlier to still get my rest in or can I not start until 08:00 again due to the 24 hrs from my 08:00 start today.
Any help will be greatly received

23:00 plus 9hrs =07:00 so no you need to park up at the latest 21:00
21:00 plus 9 = 06:00 simple maths really

As has been said if you want to start at 06:00 after a reduced daily rest period you need to be parked up by 21:00.
A new period of 24 hours starts when you start work after a daily rest period, think of it as a maximum of 24 hours rather than an actual 24 hours, the maximum time before completing a daily rest period is 24 hours from the start of the shift.
If you started today at 08:00 you must complete a daily rest period no later than 08:00 tomorrow but if you complete your daily rest period and start work at 06:00 that’s the start of a new 24 hour period, so you will then need to complete a daily rest period no later than 06:00 Saturday.
