I drove a 3300 for Stardes on a few tours,back in the day.Not a Spacecab though.Dave told me,“I ain’t spending out on a Spacecab just so you can stand up to put your trousers on”…
I remember Dave telling Becky that when she could reach the cupboards, she could have a SSC. Thanks Stupot for sorting the photo.

That’l be Dave ‘Rambo’ Ramsden. Both are still with Stardes, and are probably two of the longest serving drivers.
The local crew and techs at Bradford Queens hall used to stand outside waiting for the bands to arrive in years gone by, if a Stardes truck came down the street and you could not see the driver, then we knew it was Becky.
1989 the mag was covers a bit battered now but article ok i will post it up later

back in the day i was “the driver” for CARTER USM.used to get the customs crawling all over the wagon for swag,lisbon was the worst. 
was there a huge chap maybe called Fat John, the tour manager for USM■■? we used to gig a bit with them
Worked for Mr Steinberg for a short time…all flash no cash ! saying that the short time i did work for him was one of the best ! And he must be doing something right because he is still at it !
