Cant remember the name of it but what was going on there this afternoon at about 2pm?? vehicles were stacked on the roundabout trying to get in and they were stacked trying to get out! is that services really that good? lol
Dunno but it was bollocksed completely, I drfited down the M11 and swung in for a fuel top up, it took 10 mins to get to the pumps. I paid for fuel at 13.37 and at 14.00 I rejoined the A120 heading east.

It gets like that quite often, the traffic lights mess up and only let’s a couple of vehicles through on each change, pulled in there about a month ago for a 45 and spent another 45 trying to get back on the m11
I use the place fairly often but have never seen it anywhere near that bad, the truck park was half empty, the car park was queuing as the incoming cars were blocked by the outgoing.
I agree that it seemed to be a fairly localised problem but the traffic was also solid from the airport roundabout to the main M11 one also. You’d like to think that the Highways Agy who have a depot right outside would identify the fact there was an issue here and maybe investigate the possibility of getting whoever is responsible for the timings to come and have a tinker with the lights. All though knowing them they’d send out an Incident Response Unit along to cone off three lanes.

Birchhanger Green is a terrible bloody place, there is so much waste of space and the parking area has no uniform shape, drivers just park anywhere and don’t care if they block anyone in, even the bloody fuel station is a joke with the segregation ropes
