Can say its a first for me when you see a truck driver getting abusive with other road users coz he couldn’t get his own way… normally its the other way around…but this morning fiasco was like a Mexican stand off… Me like other parents where trying to get out of the school drive way to go about our daily business… yet some numpty in a Bidvest truck decided that he wanted to use the secondary schools driveway as a turn around point, totally ignoring the fact there where cars heading to the exit…Here’s the thing, there where a stream of vehicles trying to exit the school driveway… So no one could go anywhere…but this doesn’t stop him driving pass the exit dumping his reverse lights on and expecting everyone to magically move, considering at this point he’s blocking traffic in both directions … then proceeds to jumps out his cab throwing his weight about…dictating what he was doing and telling people to move… where ever did they find him from… thinking that if the first car moved then there would be adequate room to turn… I think not… and when the first car didnt move he shouts over to the driver " dont be a C**T "… nice roll model for the company

You say you were on the school run then expect some sympathy,to me people should be banned from taking their kids to school in cars it screws up the traffic big time,just take a look at the traffic when it’s school holidays, a pleasure to drive about.Lazy parents half the time ,just cant be bothered to walk or get out of bed a bit earlier.

I only agree in part what you say bobbya… most of the children less than mile from the school, so there’s a lot of these Chelsea tractors about and women who cant drive big cars and when its a day like today with a little rain then most parents are to lazy to weather the elements, cant have precious getting wet…
Seems to be the norm these days… when I was at school we walked the 4 miles there and back…
My own circumstances are different… live further out of the schools catchment area, plus I drop an autistic child off at the school next door so we have the benefit off using the schools car park…

No Connor … live just over 3 miles away from the school… more than 15 minute walk…plus you missed the point I take an autistic child to school, she couldn’t walk that far… so I can’t see how you can claim the BS that I’m part of the problem…

Conor does no read things fully hes a bit thick.If i lived 3 miles away and had to take an autistic kid to school think a would take the car.
Surely common sense must dictate that there wasn’t any room for this numpty. I’ve made use of entrance ways before but never when there was excessive amounts of traffic wanting to exit. If there is one or two waiting then they normally back up which I thank them for.
The same place as all the other ‘drivers’ that Bidvest employs if their general antics are anything to go by.
Ignore the ‘you’re part of the problem’ ranters. They are the people who really do believe that their truck full of toilet rolls/cornflakes/fence panels is of much greater importance than any other vehicle on the road.

BUT would you use a school entrance to turn in? I wouldn’t even use a school entrance to turn a car round, let alone anything bigger.
