I had a rethink on this, it must have been the year before because I was in a GBE truck, when my truck broke down in Cherbourg
Had fuel stolen from there about 8 mths ago. french (Mendy) lorry next to me , doubt driver was french. Restaurant was closed.
as far as i am aware Pierre Mendy ceased trading years ago

claudes at st genis is now open again.It was shut for about a year but has now been open for two weeks.
