Splitting a weekly rest to board a ferry

Is it legal to interrupt a weekly rest to board a ferry as you can do with a daily rest ?

Using the “Ferry mode” switch on tacho specifically relates to daily rest and not weekly rest.
I have used ferry mode to get me back to yard on a Fri but the weekly rest starts from when I eject card back@ base.

So you can’t do it on a weekly rest only a daily ?
