Can any one confirm if I’m right by thinking if i have three hours of in the day i can have a nine hour break at the end of my day i can still have a spread of 15hrs
this means i can work four 15s right?
Confused!

That’ll be REST you’re talking about?

Yes 15 hour day possible if the minimum rest of 3 hours during the shift complies as a rest. Must have suitable facilities, uninterrupted and free to dispose of your time (so can’t be done at tesco where they make you wait in a room with no vehicle access etc) and you then follow that with 9 hours rest within the 24 hour period from when you started your shift.

So - start 6am.
Rest 12:00 to 15:00 (3 hours qualifying as a rest)
rest 21:00 - 06:00 (remaining 9 hours)

Giving 12 hours of rest in a 24 hour period

Each rest must obviously qualify as a rest.

Ye 3 hours in my bed told Trl of the boat at midnight at purfleet so booked on at 4.30 ,15 mins checks and paper work, drive on to dock, 5 mins ,Trl on 6am boat so parked waiting, layed my bed of course

simple answer.
yes. you could do a 15 six days a week, not just the four as you said.
