Remove the fuel pumps and replace with electric chargers would be the future answer. Asda want the convenience stores and would probably make much more money with that selling their goods at a higher price than the superstores. Shopping whilst your car charges passes the time I suppose. Somehow I don’t think we will see an end to petrol stations for a good while yet.

Plenty of them about.
Polegate services for example, pretty good spot and a Mcdonalds right next door. Not that I use it the Co-op there has a great selection of stuff at reasonable prices.
