Whilst I think the magistrate must come from another planet and that the policeman involved is the one person I think should never be allowed behind the wheel I cannot condone the remarks of darren23 or newbie and I am in fact surprised that such comments have not been censored and edited by the moderators.

I agree that most people feel he should be locked up,one rule for one BLAH,BLAH,BLAH,but I dont think there is a need for the (only good copper is a dead one),thick mentality is there!!!
There is no need,if someone posted, the only good trucker is a dead one,it surely would upset a few people,
Im not a Policeman, but they are doing a job, there are good one’s,and bad ones
A bit like truck drivers really,There are plenty of thick, stupid single minded one’s of them as well!!!
I stand by my comments, I can’t stand them.
I see them as the enemy.
Easy guys. Don’t drag another thread off into a slanging match. Each person is entitled to their own opinion, you don’t have to agree with it.
The comment which set this off is certainly inflammatory and contentious, and quite possibly a bit over-strong…but it doesn’t directly break any rules, therefore it stays. Personal attacks on each other, however, will not.
Attack the post, not the poster. If you want to get personal, take it to PM or e-mail. Ignore this and the thread will be locked. If you are one of the people who contributed to the near-locking of the ADR thread, be warned that a repeat performance will earn you a personal yellow card.
We won’t have the forums dragged down like this. It’s that simple. If you don’t like it, there are plenty of other websites out there which will suit you better thn this one. Hence I’m going to attempt to nip it in the bud now by saying…
THIS IS A YELLOW CARD.
Continue down this track and it will go. Back on-topic, please…with perhaps a tad more restraint…
why is it that some one all ways has a strong negative attitude to the police, no i am not a angel as people who know me will say, but the majority of those of the law enforcement that I have meet in the course of my life up to now ,have been good, and weither it was france, belgian, holland, or united kingdom and the rest of the places i have been .
Sorry ,these persons are just doing their job, like you & me,some are good
some not so good.just like there are good & bad lorry drivers,
I would have a bit more respect for them if they actually did their job.
It is the double standards that are so wrong, There was a lad from Lighthorne near Gaydon caught doing 147mph on the A43, no traffic, clear day. he got jail, banned, lost his job and his house This bloke in Shropshire got off scot free.
There was another case in Scotland. A cooper doing 135 in a Subaru Impreza and a bloke on a bike doing a similar speed. The copper said that the radar was wrong because his Subaru was limited to 119mph, The other bloke got done and was banned. for doing the same speed on the same road
I wonder if these double standards apply to Special constables
Once again its the old saying"all coppers are ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ trust any of them unless you know a funny hand shake.
And yet another one, a speeding copper in Derby hit a car and wrecked a house.
He was charged for doing 90 mph in a 30 limit. This time though he had blue lights flashing!
Do blue lights make the tyres and brakes work better?
Funnily enough, the black box flight recorder that police cars are fitted with, has gone missing, so there is no case to answer
And even funnier, the black box has now been found with the data corrupted.
Tis becoming a joke, not funny though.
If you lose your cards or corrupt evidence, you go to jail

Is this where the expression ‘barrelling along’ comes from?
