Speed Limit Change in Penkridge Staffordshire

Just a heads up there has been a Speed Limit Change in Penkridge, Staffordshire IT Is NOW 30 MPH. Northbound you get to the 40 sign and camera and about a 100yards after that it changes to 30 MPH. I am presuming the southbound camera by the police station has been adjusted to the new limit

Yes they changed it about 2 weeks ago, no warning signs went up, it just changed from 40 to 30 one day and yes the camera by the old police station has been changed. It has caught out many locals because if you don’t go outside of the village the 40 repeaters have gone and nothing to say it has dropped to 30. Beware also approaching the church northbound at Dunston just before J13 as the 40 camera there is hidden by trees !

thanks for the warning… its a route i sometimes use when our friendly wannabees close the M6 for no real reason.
