Spectre

Went to see the new James Bond film today, me and the youngest lad.
Seen most of the Bond films, although I wouldn’t say I was a big Bond fan, but I thought it was a good movie.
Anybody else seen it yet, is it Daniel Craig’s last.

Waiting for the in laws to have the kids so me and the Mrs can go and see it. Lots of nods to past Bond films apparently, which’ll keep me occupied as I took advantage of HMVs Bond DVD offer yesterday. £2.99 per film, not good enough to persuade me to buy Moonraker though, God that was crap. I like Bond but I’m right off the Brosnan ones and never liked You Only Live Twice either. Must be the space thing I find boring.
Now they’ve done Spectre and Casino Royale, how about remaking some of the classics but as Ian Fleming wrote them?
Regarding Daniel Craig, I reckon he’ll do one more but that’ll be it. Actors seem reluctant to do it after 50 after the flack Roger Moore got for doing View To a Kill in his late 50’s.
I can recommend Roger Moores’ “Bond on Bond” book.

Chap I know went with his Mrs he said it was ok but lacked a bit of the comedy that’s always present and the odd little gadgets. Also that song by who ever is pants and had no relation he could see to any part of the film.
Think I’ll wait for it to appear so I can nod off and not feel robbed of the £10 or so it costs to sit in a big dark room with some gas bag saying " what’s he doing that for" or " wait till we get home" and finding someones dropped there extra virgin hot dog with onions all over the floor rubbed in with mustard and tomato sauce.

Loved the film… The needless going into bond whilst sat in that chair made me whince.

Hope he makes the next one even though he wishes not too

Worst Craig bond film he’s ever done. Could have been any other spy/action movie.
Worse bond song ever too.

Saw it at the weekend (well, most of it, slept through some). I got bored by it fairly quickly, not really a fan of DC’s Bond films. You’d think with all that hi-tech gear they’ve got that they’d know who the bad guy was - he’s bloody Moriarty ffs!

Agree about the theme song - don’t like Sam Smith at the best of times, and this was pure bilge.

Thought itvlacknthe is so bond spectacle of gadgets and excitement. Bit of a damp squid methinks.glad I didn’t pay to watch it
