Lunar Eclipse has near perfect conditions tonight for viewing.
The full moon starts to noticeable get a bite taken out of it around 02:15am BST
Totality begins an hour later, with “maximum eclipse” around 03:40 BST.
You’ve only got to look up to see this rather rare event - so spare a moment from watching that old ■■■■■ on your portable DVD in that layby - and take an interest in something “Out of this world” for a change.
“Webcam View” live (from the states)
Wow, looks nice from where I am.[emoji284]
It did look really good up in the north of scotland with the weird rusty red it gave off.Thought is was weird but good to see maybe never see it again.
I think I heard there will not be another total one till 2033 in the Uk.
That’s way beyond life expectancy of a good few here !!!

I think a few less on here after the Solar eclipse. Watching the displays of human ineptitude in my yard. Every idiot staring at the sun, then watching them all bump into units and fall off forklifts with toasted retinas. Made me chuckle.
I watched it for about two hours last night, go outside with the binoculars an have a look the nip back inside for a wee dram because it was cold then kept going out again and in and another wee nip, and so forth but after the two hours were up I’d forgotten what I was going outside to see…
