Ok, I’m not a German speaker I’m sorry to say. Nor a German reader. I can’t even speak Welsh and I spent 15 years living there too
However, I have got a VMP ticket and 4.5 years experience. So I can understand most of what I need to from videos that are in another language.
Like German. And, in this case, Like Ruthmanns
Now, I’m not picking on them because who they are or where they are, but merely because they’re the only ones I’ve seen with the “demo videos”.

I don’t know about Cranes, I’ve not looked. But for “Cherrypickers, VMP, Mewp, Platforms etc” they are called “Steiger”.
So choose that in the first box (Category) and the second box is Product.

(Sorry!)
TBSeries (Van Bodies)
Now, with the exception of the 100m video, NONE of the operators wear harnesses EXCEPT at the very end to show the hook points in the cage.
Also with the exception of the 100m they rarely put down spreader boards/pads. With our company it is mandatory that the boards go down every time.
At the beginning of the 18m fim it shows setting up the truck, straight leg on one side but going down onto brick/tiles without boards
When they’re demonstrating the ability to boom up without dropping the legs like we can do on our 26m Wumag in the company, they’ve got a boom strobe on but not the trucks beacons, nor the indicators/hazards. But when they do a full U turn in the road they use them?! Huh ■■
Towards the end of the 18m 3 guys are going up, and ones resting his work bag on the edge of the cage (oh, and no harnesses). Now, even my customers know NOT to do that!!
I know they have boards as they have a breif intro on them at the end. As well as that odd cage thing for, er, the cage. Like a protecting sheild? Dunno what that’s about
For the 22m 7.5t they have set it up in the buslane with no cones. Perhaps red and white cones is just a UK thing, but they don’t have any kind of protection behind them. Only the beacons are on. Perhaps it’s just me, but working on roads I’d have the hazards on too. Even if he put some cones as markers behind him? But no.
So. Whaddya think. Is it just me?!
Oh, and I like the 5 degree setup thing. That is gonna be Soooooo Helpful
