If this is Glastonbury sparks could be anything to do with the new nestle site? If so it could be of interest to me.
Yep it’s Sparks from Glastonbury. They’ve currently got the Refresco Bridgwater (formally Gerber) contract along with Gregorys. Refresco have recently bought Cotts in the UK and US making them the world’s largest independent bottler of beverages with 59 plants in Europe, the US, Canada and Mexico.
Refresco UK have just tendered the haulage contract and Jigsaw Transport have got it. As Sparks are a partner I assume they’ll now take all of the Bridgwater work and from the looks of it they’ll be doing Kegworth as well. Don’t know if they’ll be doing the other UK sites or if one of the other Jigsaw partners will get some.

Sparks and Gregory’s currently do different work out of the same site. Gregory’s do the waters and Sparks do the juices. Not sure if Gregory’s are anything to do with Jigsaw
Yes Gregorys bring in the water, so that may remain unchanged, but they also deliver some ambient products as well as Sparks. I would imagine that side of things will be done solely by Sparks or by another one of Jigsaws partners as Gregorys are not on their list of partners.
I currently drive for Sparks and from my point of view they are Ok to work for. The fleet is modern and the wages are fair. The work is clean and they have various shifts available.
You will be pushed to the max some days and other days will be spent waiting. I get the impression on speaking to other drivers at RDCs that most companies are pretty much the same just different livery.
Jo sparks are running 4 on 4 off from Colne ,Kegworth ,
and another few i cant remember
Its £10 an hour x 4 days with 3 nights out@ £20 i think i was told when discussing the Refresco
work- i seen some full trailers being delivered to a Morrisons RDC no straps on full
load of pop bottles apart from scotch on the rear- easy money for DVSA should
they get a tug…some drivers chancing it i guess ?

I dread to think of the scale of rural degradation involved for that lovely part of the country,to facilitate one of the most rapacious and vile corporations on the planet. more concrete cancer for Albion mithinks.
