This is worth a shot if you have some spare cash to either put in a month or even store away… The rates are far better than your usual savings accounts and isas etc… Dont think the banks have clicked on though…

A quick note down on the likes of Santander offering 5%. They allow £2500 max limit for you to have in your account at any one time. So if you have a bit of spare cash and say put in £1499 to leave in every month that alone will get you £75 profit in a years time + you’ll also make £ on the £1k youve been putting in/taking out every month.
Also had a gander at Lloyds TSB A/C. If you have a whoping £5-£7k @ 4% (3.93gross) thats a yearly sum of £196.5 - £220 + whatever you make from teh £1k deposit you have been putting in and out every month.
