Is it ok to drive from Barcelona to Santander sunday morning to get the 14.15 ferry to Portsmouth ?
Not sure if Santander is in the Basque region or not. I know you can’t drive there.
I believe Bilbao is the start of the Basque Region and Santander is West of that so might be ok.
I used to run Santander boat to Valencia on a Sunday with no problem
I would say check a website that lists the areas of truck bans.
If there is,the cops will make you park up until the ban ends.
Normaly in a restaurant or hotel where there facilities for showers and hot food.
Basque is different kettle of fish to the rest of Spain and so is the Catalan area and their Mosses police.
