Can anybody please tell me whether a digital tacho card, issued by the Spanish trafico authority, will work in a UK registered truck? Also, will the UK company that I will be working for be able to download from it without any problem?. I have spent hours searching the Internet and phoning DVLA & VOSA etc, but nobody can answer this one!

these are digi cards issued in the eu also it asks what country you finish or start in
I would have thought a Spanish card will work fine.
Thankyou so much gents. My best guess was that it would work ok in the truck, cos a tacho is a tacho wherever it is. Just didn’t know if the UK system for downloading was peculiar to UK or subject VOSA’s own rules.
Not a problem, I have used a Spanish digi card in UK, Irish and Finish trucks. If you speak Spanish just leave it on the Spanish settings, if not scroll throught the idiomas section and put it into english.

there is in fact a member of this forum doing exactly that at the moment, he used to work with me and now he lives in the UK and uses his spanish card in his UK truck. he asked about changing it and DVLA said wait until its due for renewal
