Spanish customs + Guarda Civil

Did you know the spanish customs and guarda civil dont know what plant food is ffs.
Went down to Vitoria airport double manned last sunday got down there monday afternoon loaded 4 aircraft pallets of veg but had flowers on the flight as well. Customs didnt know what the little packet was on every bunch of flowers and impounded the load off the flight 7 poxy hours we was kept by guarda civil never again

Well Harry they reckon they havnt seen anything like it before but you might be right

If the flight was from South America or Africa, everything is suspect !. I only learnt recently that the La Coruna area is the main import point in Europe for South America’s most famous export. Would of thought is was somewhere like the Costa del Sol or Barcelona but apparently not.

And the Spanish don’t seem to know what the other half is doing.

I think it was a digital tacho that was set up in Euskera, it mentions the machine was configured like that, so I doubt it was tacho discs but the digital information. You also forgot the €1 :laughing:

The Basques habitually write their dates like the Americans if they are predominately Basque speaking the Spanish do it in the normal way.
The Guardia Civil thought he had a fair cop until the Basque regional Government intervened claiming linguistic discrimination so he got off with that one in the end.
