Saw a green magnum with the legend southern star emblazoned on the front.
Looked like a mr monk mobile to me■■?

Yes I do say.
The last time I saw it (on here) there was no lettering on the truck.
I got just a little bit happy when I saw it.
Sorry I spoke and rattled your clever arsed cage.
Yep I guess that would have been me on my way from Immingham to Roche.
I saw a lorry once.
This on one of the things that drives me mad about this site, there is always someone trying to belittle or take the p1ss out of someone else. If roadranger saw Harry’s motor and it made him happy/smile and wanted to post about it where’s the problem in that? This post is only like the ‘Who’s seen who’ thread and I don’t see anybody taking the mickey on there. In fact Kindle, you’ve even posted on that thread

Yup!
That’s what I thought.

Good point, I’m always looking to spot someone from tnuk but only ever see Luke. But then again he could have put it on “who’s seen who”.

I agree its well smart .
It is quite distinctive, and as I’ll be looking to pick up roadshow and promotional work once I get a second truck on the road, it will be its own advert. I wouldn’t personally bother with light bars and air horns etc but they were on there when I bought it and the kids love them. I think the vinyl graphics have transformed the look of truck and at £140 for the lot were a bargain.
If and when I do put another truck on the road, I’ll ask on TruckNet if anyone’s interested in a job. You’ll earn fantastic money if you’re prepared to go away for three or four months, and have a job that you’ll remember on your deathbed as the best experience of your life.
Here’s a few pics so look out for me and give me a wave, or if you see me parked up come up and introduce yourself, if I’ve got time I always love a coffee and a chat, new contacts etc.

I’m flattered that you follow me around everywhere on TruckNet, Vern. Even in the Owner’s and Operator’s forum I can’t get away from you!
If I ever have a vacancy for a van driver, you’ll be the first person I ask. If you ever manage to pass the HGV driving test, I’ll even have the bed taken out and replaced with some Sprinter van seats for you to sleep on so you feel at home!
Don’t rush Vinny. I need time to recover from my sides splitting. Your humour is too much for multi-personalities to take. So two threads constitute stalking eh? Well raise my rent!
I’ve never yet bought a light bar but I do quite like the under-run one on the front bumper on that truck.
I have put a single airhorn on trucks that don’t have one whatsoever. I will admit to also having a hankering for an American fire truck one - don’t know if they’re legal or not over here.
If you ever got a trailer and painted it the same colour as the truck I think it would look a very smart outfit indeed like an F1 type rig.

Yes I like those under run bars and they dont damage the mpg,s like the spots might do.
It’s not very good on mpg, although that’s partly because it is heavy, it has a 4.42 metre wheelbase so it is maximum length for a 6x2 tractor unit. But that gives it a very good ride.
I also regularly go into the depths of Cornwall and once past Exeter it is like being on a roller-coaster. Up, down, up, down, loaded to 44 tonnes. I don’t think the Hella roof bar makes much difference over the course of a week. Maybe a pound or two.
I get a fairly good rate, certainly more than I would get from Sealane, Stobart, Dentressangle or anyone else in the sub-contracting game and I’m earning a reasonable amount from doing what I do. I’m not expecting to earn a fortune, just a living, but at the same time I will be driving a truck maintained to my standards, rather than by the standards of someone who doesn’t care if I get my neck snapped.
As many on here know, Angie (Animal) was recently injured when she was sent to Romania by a cowboy firm in a vehicle with a defective handbrake. I have, in the past, had to work for similar firms myself, but am fortunate enough to be in a position where I am liberated from this degradation.

Fraid to say the handbrake was not defective. It just wasn’t applied properly.
You can’t argue with Columbomonk Glen. He does know everything. You know what happened, everyone else can see what happened. He likes to tell you what happened and that’s that.
