Can someone give me a rough idea of how long it would take to drive from southampton to wisbech in a tractor unit bob tailing. Need to be in wisbech for 7:30 am. Cheers
i would give yourself a good 6 hours

You’d do it in one hit depending on time of day and traffic I’d imagine. We can easy do Easton to Southampton loaded in under four and a half.
With a clear run I used to do Soton to Kings Lynn in 4.15.

If you gotta be in Wisbech by 7-30 you’ll do it easily in 4 hrs max! I would go M3,M25 A1 to peterborough then A47!
Not really OTT , you are all quoting 4 or 4.5 , I said 6 . Erring on the side of caution,should there be any delays on the way then the driver, will have to take a 45m. So he will be nearing 6 hours. My estimate was to advise what it could take.

Just as quick to go all way to Peterborough! More dual carriageway, especially if you’re solo!

Or you could stay on the A1M to Peterborough services then take the A1139 onto the A47

We regularily do Stamford Soton in less than three and a half via A43 A34 M3 &down The Avenue into the city (leaving at 4am) so you should do it in four to four fifteen easily.
Maybe he will let us know what time he left and the time he pulled up at wisbech

) I tell my mates if they’re going to London if you’re on 2:50 hrs get in beconsfield or toddy or south mimms before COMMITING! 
because as soon as you hit m25 bang lots of traffic! Many infringements BECAUSE THEY DON’T LISTEN
