note, if you click on that map, it will superimpose the route on a proper road map.
Heads up, bicycle race on this Sunday, lots of road closures in the Cardiff, Newport, Pontypool, Abergavenny area.

Yay, Road rodent season!
15,000 riders
sounds horrendous, couldn’t think of any think worse. If you fitted them all on the start line they would be 8 abreast for 2 miles. If you staggered the start it would be one a second for over 4 hours.
And no doubt they will all have to drive there so that will be 10,000 cars and vans, sounds like an environmental disaster of epic proportions.
Will not be able to leave my house by car for 8 hours last year hundreds outside my house because I live at the very bottom of Caerphilly mountain were its one hell of a mountain clime its Apache in the arse but a lot of money raised for charity so worth the inconvenience regards rowly
I have no access to my place other than one of the eight hour-closed roads. I solve the problem by going away for the weekend.
The trouble is that it’s not just the one day, as the lycra-clad pita practise for weeks before the event.
I hate cyclists!!!
