Just posted on ERF thread.We hauled out of Llanwern Slag with her,230 Gardner,Fuller and Eaton rear end.She was loading under a bin in Llanwern,when as usual the muck was up to the axles.Result was rear propshaft twisted in half,still have a spare in the yard if anyone needs one :smiley:

i must say that is some heavy looking sub frame on dai s new lorry,that unit with crane has got to be 15tons at a guess maybe more.

Two pictures of Grandads Sentinel S8,when restored by E.Shone. These were taken at Shrewsbury.There is one photo of her at the Sentinel works with E&O Griffiths on the doors,but with Freeguard Brothers onthe body and F.B.T.on the front.The reason is due to a well known South Wales haulage contractor objecting to them having it on there A licence.Grandad knew Freeguards well and they let him operate it on their licence.She hauled tinplate from Swansea to Dagenham,as well as the North West,when they brought butter back to South Wales.

i am fine thank you :smiley: .yes,i agree with you about bernard and hubert,i saw them at billy’s funeral recently,they were both looking well.the peterbilt that the harley davidson guys came to see,is now sold.
i think? i saw you on thursday night john,coming off jct. 37,i was driving a customers white daf xf,heading for south cornelly.here are some of dai’s new scania,i think? the pm crane is a 75 tonne per metre,this truck has replaced the maroon coloured x reg. 4 series that was shown in a previous photo.

i wondered if you saw me? :slight_smile: the other night.i think? dai. told me that the maroon x reg.scania is sold.yes stan morris was at billy’s funeral and he was looking very well,it was good to see so many of the old joint’s faces :smiley: .it’s so easy to forget that they (joint’s) finished 12 years ago this january.

i think a joints christmas do would be good lol glad they are ok that daf who owns that it looks familier seen your sis in law the other day she passed me in the car the other night would you be interested if i can put work your way with clarkes i have mentioned it to them
