Anyone know what Owens carry in these Bulkers with hazardous marking on them :question:

I don’t know what they carry but I can’t seem to get a photo of them. I took three last time I was down in Wales but none came out and during that trip my camera did some strange things including a double exposure which is the one and only time I have had that happen on a digital camera. The pictures of Owens tippers just came out as “camera cannot read file”. It is a bit worrying.

This was taken immediately after I tried to take one of Owens

owens carry aluminium out of swansea alcoa to liverpool its a certain type which will catch fire and explode if any water gets on it thats why its transported in bulkers to keep it dry hope that helps trucknet member smallcoal

Hiya…not seen mike for about 12 years he was running us back to Laybond from thomas hardie at service time.
I think he lives about a mile away from me but i never see him. well done seeing 70 mike.

dai howells is a haulier whom i have known for many years.his brother lyn ran a very smart fleet from coychurch,near bridgend.i remember lyn howells fleet well as my auntie lived near their yard.when i was a young boy during the 1970’s my parents used to tell me that i never moaned about going to my auntie’s in coychurch :smiley: .dai has kindly lent some photos to share :smiley: .starting with some of his brothers fleet.
