About a month or so ago I was going to work one morning in Llantwit Fadre and a small stream of wagons were coming the other way, and one of them was a Dodge K skip wagon. I thought ‘oh theres a nice Dodge’, then the penny dropped as to what it actually was. Does anyone know this wagon? I am pretty sure it was GHB ■■? N.

Was Andy Powell training down that way by any chance! He had to get to Beconsfield to join the Wasps somehow. A hop a skip and a jump away.
Truth be told, I just noticed nothing posted today Saturday 10.48pm my time didn’t want to loose a spot on the front page.
By the way good luck Andy, in the Guinness premiership league.

I new the word skip was here somewhere.
My father ran a H reg Boxer similar spec to this Dodge. The Perkins 6.354 gave up on it and the driver managed to limp into Aust services. Iirc we took a 16 ton TK down with a few ton on its back and a bar to tow it home to Rhymney. Someone decided to have breakfast before we started so with the TK along side two of us threw said tow bar onto the boxers body which had side boards hoping if no one could see it it wouldn’t get nicked. All of a sudden we heard screams coming from under the bar and tarpaulin. Someone had climbed under it to sleep, and was trapped. Instead of three its now four for breakfast, and laughter all round. Luckily, no serious injuries, but going out on breakdowns was always an experience.
