during the summer months shillibiers was so busy that we were delivering top soil to swansea by night i had gone down with my last load of the night on my return to the yard i was faced with this tipped by the boss.this was the lorry that i started on my long distance career coal from wales to kings lynne animal feed back to carmarthen in my day cab foden sleeping across the seats.

Hiya Andrew if you find it hard to sheet and rope you should go on your truck runs & rally’s with this outfit !! Plenty of living accomodation in the back and the sides won’t flap when your under way .Cheers Dennis.

hi dave to be honest cant remember much about this truck i worked for shillibiers for a while before suffering an illness where i had to leave driving for a bit ,when i went back that was in the yard i jumped init one morning went about 2 miles and it broke down dont think i ever drove it again most of work we used to do was muck shifting dave cheers martyn.

this volvo f10 also arrived before my return remember going up to dumfries in 8 wheeler i used to drive with my mate dereck bodinham in the f10 all i remember the heater was knackered and the drivers door would shut properly luckily for me i had brand new constructor sleeper b85 atg.

Is that mud or paint on that Volvo Martyn,also notice it on the screen and front of the Scammell as well.

it was that time we were instructed to have our lorries ready for the convoy as it happens we were on the iron ore run but you had some miners come round and threw paint over some of the wagons as per pictures cheers martyn.
