South Wales Hauliers sixties and seventies onwards (Part 1)

Thornycroft Swiftsure advert from 1957.

Good morning, the V B Davies Crusader was operated by Viv Davies one of the Davies brothers and it looks like his son Mark at the wheel. I believe Mark was running a market garden or something similar near Pontardulais after his transport days.
Regards, Allan

Hi Allan,
I’ve not seen Mark Davies since Kelvin Powell’s funeral back in July 2017.He was into organic farming? Whatever that maybe?
An image I could look at all day here,Taken by Neil Jarrold in Zeebrugge many years ago……

Morning Rowly must say the F89 looks sweet. Andrew and everyone who has helped you have done a fantastic job. Hate to think how
many hours that took to rebuild to that condition. What a collection F89,141 and a Transcon.

Hi all,
Not sure if Roger Tudor was from South Wales? Seen here subbing to John Raymond. A Roadtrain from the British Steel fleet at? The Welsh connection with the F7, courtesy of Kevin Creighton, is that it was new to Entress.
