Hi all. Looking at the situation in the U.K. and it’s totally different here in Florida. You would never know there was a pandemic going on. Since the middle of November prior to thanksgiving people have been heading to and from Florida. Vacationers, snow birds and Floridians leaving and returning. Everyone seems to be driving, not flying. Hopefully another two weeks and traffic will be back to normal. With our population growing continuously our roads are under pressure and at holidays just gridlocked.
Bars and restaurants have no restrictions except for masks on entry and whilst heading to the bathrooms or leaving. Tables are spaced, but you can mix with any family or friends.
I hope everything returns to normal early in the New Year for everyone, sooner the better.
Regard to all.

Hello All. I can Remember EC Cases when they were situated under the Walnut tree viaduct very near Maberley Parkers before moving to Senghenydd. There were a few TS commer four wheelers and from memory they were dark blue .They used to stink of ‘Creosote’ when they passed you.
Hi, their old Taffs well yard is now Robert Price Timber Remember my dad buying a garden shed from there in early 1970’s
Yes at one time you are right Richard i believe but early days they were down near the Ynys Bridge near Maberly Parkers,
Hi all. As a young teenager traveling with my father we used to go down as far as Treforest every Monday and Thursday on his route delivering fresh and frozen foods. I remember EC cases in Taffs Wells, but not Sengheydd. I do remember traveling up to Sengheydd from Caerphilly but somehow the only thing that stirs the old grey cells is a scrap yard at the end of a rather rough residential street.
I was watching a Vlog of Russell Worthing’s a few weeks back and I’m pretty sure he referenced a wooden mill or yard that had closed many years ago.
Rowly and Graham knowing Russell you may of seen it. Probably 50 years since I’ve been there, but doesn’t seem that much had changed.
Hi paul yes I know shenghenyd really well I’m up there a lot with many friends and buisness still a old type valley village the Woodyard still there derelict I think the scrap yard your on about was at the end of elan road owned by Albert and glyn Yemen. abertridwr next to shenghenydd then moved to van road caerphill were i grew up then bought anthracite works llantrisant became multi millionaires they never forgot their roots regards rowly ward

I don’t know if you remember Andrew but Ryan Transport had an office at the top of Thorns Road Quarry Bank near Round Oak Steelworks, other side of the lights from Hingley’s yard?

Hi all,
Happy new year everyone.I thought this a very poignant picture to post on our thread today.A Barry based Daf ,looks like it’s leaving Ramsgate on the old road through town before the big tunnel bypass was bored. The media have been trying to tell us of massive delays on international freight movements due to Brexit.Though it’s very early days,so far,so good is the feedback I’ve been getting…
Hi Andrew, happy new year to you and everyone here.
