Cardiff reg no, but bodied, sign written and still in Cheshire, had it made the trip “back home” for promotional purposes as it looks like an early model?
Hi all.
Came across a some video’s on you tube last night of Gaydon 2014. Quite a few motors from this thread on there, the video being taken as the lorrie’s were leaving the showground.
Steelboy’s F10 making a slow but precise exit, Andrew bringing the speed level up a bit in his Peterbilt and pERFection14’s ECX looking the business with Rowly’s Transcon on the trailer. Some of the V8 Scania’s sounded nice, but those two stroke Commers were on song as were a few Foden’s.
Andrew, what happened to the video’s the Steelboys were doing? The convoy one was brilliant.
Regards Paul.
^^^^^ super smashing great !
This must be the only trailer which wasn’t destroyed it been on trostre ind est for many years,w north

Never mind the Penny’s ERF’s - that’s a tidy bit of R&S going the other way, clearly the driver of that truck had been on Bewick’s R&S course.
Its nice to see this thread still going on Dave will be missed by all who knew him . Thankyou for all your kind messages I have passed them on to all the family .

You can “dig 'em out Andrew” ! Great shot Mate ! Very occasionally when Gwynne Bowen couldn’t fit us up for a load back we would be loaded off Trevor Phillips with the same loads of tin plate that Bowens would have loaded us with, obviously I wasn’t aware if there was a difference in the rate but Bowens was always our first port of call ! Cheers Dennis.PS I reckon there is 16 ton on that Atki !

Hi Punch Dan. great photo do you know where it was taken ■■?.Travelled a lot of miles in that GUY big j as did my brother, trailers looked odd without side bars . That trailer has been up more kerbs and roundabouts than I can remember ,didn’t follow at all.
Sorry I don’t know where ,but I can find out but it will be a month or so yet .
