This daf was the Shrewsbury based shunter,ran from there to the north west and shunted at both shotton and shepherds in Manchester.

One good thing about them boxes they were good to use on a Friday when you got back hook up put it in wash squirt fairy liquid on your cab let the brushes wash cab and box saved you using the hose pipe ,only thing is they all cottoned on to it that was the cleanest box ever good days then

Here is another from the same source,so please remember,if you’ve got the hump,don’t ■■■■■ and moan at me.Ron Howells had this foden new,320 ■■■■■■■ and a 13 speed fuller,personally I never rated any of the joint foden’s,they weren’t a patch on the mercs…
