yes gen set are still very much with us.during the early 80’s when i left school and went to work for my parents,every week bar none,i would be working on one of their many vehicles.i think? they ran over 50 transit’s back then and had a depot in glenrothes.they had a colourful m.d,whom was renowned for vehicle accidents,i’ll just leave it at that

Anyone remember the 1982 snow drifts? Two here from back then,the entrance to village farm industrial estate in Pyle and secondly one of Protheroe 's seddon atkis on the big roundabout just up the road.

Hi Andrew,yes I remember it well pity it couldn’t happen again me and my mate went down the old Unigate dairy in green park everyone was helping themselves to the milk we loaded 8 crates together with rope and pulled them up to town to give all the old people 2 bottles each good days that was
One of the S24’s that worked internal at Llanwern, any one got anymore pic’s of these or the other internal vehicles used, think one was a Daf and it belonged to Hazell’s I think, Cheer’s Pete
