Regards Andrew.
Are you on a water metre Andrew ? or tapped into the next door neighbours supply ? Anon 1.
Hi Dennis,
As usual mate, you’ve seen right through my master plan!
Then again Andrew, being a tight, sorry, “careful” Welshman you may have installed a coin operated meter which with any luck,(and it’s advantageous setting) you will, with luck( and plenty of use) have made enough to pay your water charges for the year ahead. Good on you mate!! Cheers Dennis.PS but if I turn up I will expect you to “hand wash” the Merc personally F.O.C. Cheers Dennis.

Just got back in and had a quick scan of the latest threads. Surely you’re not still driving that German rubbish Dennis? ‘Our friends in the North’ have made it clear that the Jaguar is superior in all respects!

I’ve got to be honest John I never had much luck with the couple of XJ6’s I had over the years,in fact I can say they were the worst cars I have ever run! P.V.Dobson were always trying to get me into them,I would have been far better off buying a Massey Fergie off them at least it would have been more reliable Cheers Dennis.

hi dennis,
my father had a new v12 xjs in 1987,what a load of absolute rubbish that thing was!poorly built,as reliable as the british climate and dealers who were nothing more than an embarrassment to the south wales motor trade, never again.the old man has had audi’s ever since.love em or hate em in an age when other german manufacturers have lost the plot, the audi’s are still very well built imo……
Good to have you back Dai , this thread has missed you ! W G Davies loading out of the Mond at Clydach brings back memories , they would often be seen tipping at Wiggins at Hereford . regards Keith .
