hello harry,
the 100% truth is that i was ready to sell that truck well over 18 months ago,i love restoring and driving and once i have started going to the same truck show 6/7 times with the same truck, then that tells me its time for a change.i couldn’t be any happier about where the peterbilt has ended up tbh.happy new year harry….
regards andrew.

Hiya,
Thanks for New Year’s wishes Andrew, and the same to you, and the hobby of restoring
vehicles from another era is just fantastic It was my intention to get hold of something
from days gone by and get it into show condition, I did a bit of “special” building in my
much younger years they always took forever being away a lot being a tramper, you’ll
remember the fibreglass bodies built to mount onto Ford 8 and Austin 7 chassis I did 3
but helped mates with others, not blowing my own trumpet here but being a decent
mechanic I did a lot of engine/ gearbox rebuilds and “tweaked” them a bit, but illhealth
put the brakes on that idea when I hit retirement age Ah’ well I still get to a local show
or two and get to admire other enthusiasts efforts. Like I said a fantastic hobby.
thanks harry, long retired.
