Hi all, Daibootsy great photos of Abertawe Transport. Weren’t they owned by a coal company?

I remember them running into Aberthaw power station around 1989, and iirc they ran off the wharf at Fabian way. When you crossed over the bridge to the M4 (east) you could see them loading coal. Not sure if that was a blending area or the coal was imported, or probably being exported from there!

Hi Paul in the early days they were known as Johnson Brothers Coal. Later to become ABERTAWE TRANSPORT. .
