Hi Pete 359 seeing that pic of the atki with VWN reg no reminds me of the first artic I drove a GUY Big J and the reg number was VWN 475H, don’t suppose any one on this thread knows any history. She had a 180 Gardiner and 6 speed DB box and although I drove it out of a Cornwall base she ended up back in Southampton on containers, cheers Buzzer.

Fantastic pic of Ronnie s Evans k series Dodge there Great to see it again , Ronnie Evans operates from the village that i am from and is still going strong with a fleet of Artics these days , been going for over 50 yrs.
I remember he had 3 6 wheeler Dodges this one shown and PTH 664K &665K AND A PAIR OF 4 WHEELER’S NTH708 & 709 J ALL WITH THE V8’S AND eATON TWIN SPEED aXLE

Another shot of reminicanse for me there with that fab shot of Williams Bro’s (Crosshands) Ltd again around 4 miles from my home village , no longer operating since around 84/5
i used to use their facilities to wash chassis on trucks that we had for m.o.t. at the ford dealership that i did my apprenticeship at in the same village Crosshands , they were an old haulier with an impressive line up of some 50 -60 trucks lined up at their yard in the evenings, their yard / garage would be occupying what is the roundabout on the A48 in Crosshands today !!
